Role Overview
As a Threat and Vulnerability Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating threats and vulnerabilities across our client’s organization. The PwC Evolved Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include, but are not limited to:
1. Conduct security assessments, red team exercises, web application penetration testing, vulnerability assessment and secure configuration review to identify risks and recommend appropriate remediation measures.
2. Advise clients on relevant regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST).
3. Support the growth of the TVM team and service offerings.
4. Assist in implementing advanced red team infrastructure.
5. Identify and evaluate the latest technologies, tools, and methods.
6. Stay informed about the latest threats and compliance requirements related to penetration testing.
Your Profile:
1. Strong experience in offensive security.
2. Proven leadership in managing diverse teams, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop talent.
3. Experience in developing payloads and obfuscating tools to evade modern EDRs.
4. Significant experience in implementing red team infrastructure.
5. Experience conducting vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and secure configuration reviews on network devices, databases, and operating systems.
6. Experience with tools such as Cobalt Strike, NightHawk, Mythic, Burp Suite, Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, etc.
7. Strong knowledge of attacker methodologies and tactics, with experience in threat mitigation.
8. Intermediate experience in cloud penetration testing and review.
9. Experience in developing ransomware simulation scripts and security architecture design is a plus.
10. Relevant security certifications (e.g., OSCP, CRTO, OSEP, etc.) are a plus.
11. 5+ years of dedicated experience in threat and vulnerability management roles.
12. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
