Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, leading a team of tax professionals, and supporting the growth of the firm's Irish tax services. The role offers an excellent work-life balance and the chance to influence the development of the tax function in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.Key responsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of qualified and part-qualified tax professionals.Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.Deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services across a portfolio of clients.Monitor projects, manage risk, and communicate updates on budgets and timelines.Foster a collaborative team culture focused on development, coaching, and continuous improvement.Provide technical expertise on tax matters, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.Support business development activities and help achieve financial objectives.Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to technology or strategic initiatives.RequirementsProfessional qualification: CTA and/or ACA/ACCA/CA with 2–3 years' post-qualification experience.Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax in Ireland (international tax experience a plus).Working knowledge of VAT, personal tax, and employment taxation.Proven leadership and team management experience.Strong communication and client relationship skills.Commercially minded, proactive, and solutions-oriented.Excellent organisational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
