About Your New Job as a Structural Engineer
Performing structural analysis and design, preparing detailed structural drawings.
Designing foul drainage and surface water drainage systems, including SuDS.
Preparing earthworks design and supporting documentation.
Conducting level surveying using Total Station and GPS Surveying techniques as required for design validation.
Carrying out site inspections and supervision on a periodic basis to support project delivery.
Ensuring compliance with Irish Building Regulations.
Writing technical reports and project documentation.
What Skills You Need for this Structural Engineer
Proficiency in Level Surveying, Total Station, and GPS Surveying (for design validation and occasional site work).
Experience in foul drainage and surface water drainage design.
Strong structural analysis and design skills.
Ability to prepare detailed structural drawings and earthworks design.
Experience in site inspection and supervision (on an intermittent basis).
Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations.
Strong technical report writing skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of Revit, Tekla Structural Designer, and Microsoft Project is an advantage.
