Our client is seeking a Molecular Diagnostics Technical Sales Representative to join its growing sales team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales across the molecular diagnostics and life sciences portfolio, working closely with clinical diagnostics and life science laboratories nationwide.

Responsibilities
Grow the market share within the life science and molecular diagnostics sectors
Promote the full range of equipment and products
Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge across the product portfolio
Identify, develop, and maximise new business opportunities
Maintain and grow existing customer accountsMeet or exceed quarterly sales targets and individual KPIs
Deliver product demonstrations, customer training, and technical support
Develop an understanding of current and future market trends
Accurately use and maintain the company CRM system
Represent our client professionally with customers, suppliers, and partners
Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and key opinion leaders
Attend trade exhibitions, scientific conferences, training sessions, and workshops as required
Essential Requirements
Laboratory experience
Degree in a biological or life science discipline
Full, clean EU driving licence
Strong drive and motivation to succeed in technical sales
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues
Willingness to travel regularly throughout Ireland, with occasional international travel
Desirable
Higher degree in a biological or life science discipline
Working knowledge of the Irish clinical and research laboratory sectors
Laboratory or commercial experience in molecular biology
