ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Review and assess new ingredients, technologies, and delivery mechanisms in ruminant nutrition.
* Collaborate nationally and internationally to develop and trial new concepts and nutritional solutions.
* Conduct lab and production trials, coordinating with research institutions and commercial farms.
* Work with nutritionists, vets, and commercial teams to design products and services for Irish and international markets.
* Maintain R&D records and prepare applications/reports for funding programs.
* Share R&D outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
* Provide technical support to sales teams and retail partners via on-farm visits and discussion groups.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
* Experience in agricultural or animal nutrition industries is essential.
* PhD in Animal Nutrition or related fields highly desirable.
* Knowledge of Irish and international feed industries and professional networks desirable.
* Familiarity with formulation software is an advantage.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
