The team and the opportunity
At EY, our Digital Assurance and Quality Engineering team specializes in Data Transformation and Testing Services.
We offer a comprehensive range of functional testing services, including requirements-based testing, integration testing, system testing, regression testing and acceptance testing.
Through agile QA and testing practices we enable faster time-to-market, flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements, along with automation and continuous testing to drive improved efficiencies.
Our expertise extends to test automation, API and microservices testing, mobile device testing, performance testing and ETL testing, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
As a Test Manager within Technology Consulting, you will help clients solve challenges from requirements through to large-scale transformation programmes, and help shape an innovative culture at EY.

You will play a key role in developing and strengthening client relationships, helping our clients navigate complex finance issues and driving innovative culture.
Your key responsibilities
Take end-to-end responsibility for planning and delivering QA elements of large-scale projects in accordance with relevant Test Management Methodologies
Plan, direct, coordinate and report on QA delivery from test strategy and planning through UAT and hand-off to end users, leading large teams across multiple workstreams
Influence testing efforts across functions and present defect impact analyses and recommendations to governance forums and senior client stakeholders
Maintain focus of QA activities to ensure delivery of key priorities and dependencies
Identify and advise on project-level decisions; escalate defects, risks and issues as needed
Understand consulting service offerings and build external and internal relationships across service lines
Lead Technology Consulting engagements, manage team performance and commercials, including performance reviews and estimates to complete
Develop people through supervising, coaching and mentoring
Understand, follow and lead staff in workplace policies and procedures
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have:
A strong academic record including a third level degree, preferably in business or IT
QA accreditation (ISTQB Foundation or similar)
At least 5 years' relevant client-facing experience in large-scale change/transformation programmes; or at least 7 years' relevant experience
Experience delivering QA in Agile/DevOps and V-model environments
Experience delivering test strategy and test plans
Experience translating business requirements into test cases (e.g., RTM)
Experience with functional and technical specifications and testing (functional and non-functional)
Experience coordinating and managing UAT
Experience delivering manual testing and test automation
Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, Micro Focus ALM/QC or ServiceNow
Technical troubleshooting and end-to-end defect management
Experience in leading teams comprising client, contractors and partners
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate strategy into measurable business benefits
Track record of delivery within large-scale IT transformation programmes
Experience aligning business and IT across silos to deliver sustainable, agile solutions
Ideally, you will also have
Experience in ERP, CRM, Digital Workplace, CX, Cloud Migration and/or integrations, Data & Analytics, RPA, Emerging Tech, IoT, Blockchain
Ability to balance big-picture delivery with detailed work across various contract types
