**Team Leader**The Team Leader supports the manufacturing process, by supporting the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring that production targets are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
This role involves coordinating with various departments, leading a team of production workers, and implementing process improvements.
**What You Will Do:*** Lead, mentor, train, and motivate a team of production workers.
* Assign tasks and monitor the performance of team members, communicating opportunities for improvement to Supervisor.
* Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
* Using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble and connect the various components of the automatic door.
* Set up and operate advanced CNC functions following detailed instructions and established procedures on CNC equipment to cut, punch, form, drill, pulse, spin, mill and stamp, to produce metal parts and components per design and drawing specifications required for subassemblies or finished products.
* Ensure assembled door parts meet quality standards.
* Identifying and resolving any issues or defects in the assembly process, such as misaligned parts or faulty components.
* Ensure team is following safety protocols and ensuring that all assembly work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
* Maintaining a clean and organized work area and properly storing tools and equipment after use.
* Collaborating with other team members, such as engineers or quality control personnel, to address any challenges or improvements in the assembly process.
* Ensure team is documenting and recording performance as well as any issues or defects encountered during assembly or manufacturing on the hour x hour sheets.
* Ensure team is adhering to production schedules and meeting production targets to ensure timely delivery of finished automatic doors.
* Other projects or assembly work as assigned.
**What You Need To Succeed:*** Highschool Diploma or GED, Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
* Reliable transportation.
* Ability to work overtime as needed.
* Understanding of assembly techniques, tools, and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
This includes the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
* Experience related to operating and supporting CNC equipment.
* Attention to detail to ensure that products are assembled correctly and meet quality standards.
* Good time management skills to meet production goals.
* Ability to communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate tasks, report issues, and provide updates on progress.
* Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the assembly process.
This includes identifying and resolving technical problems, suggesting improvements, and working collaboratively with team members to find solutions.
* Ability to demonstrate manual dexterity; ability to use fingers and hands to feel, handle, or squeeze; reach with hands and arms; twist/turn body; perform repetitive motions.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time.
* Ability to move/lift up to 75+ pounds, utilizing team lifting or tools to move assembled door components when needed.
* Adaptable and able to adjust to new processes, technologies, or production requirements.
**Additional Detail*** Standard schedule is Monday through Friday 3:30pm - 12:00am.
Overtime during the week and Saturdays when needed.
