Senior Sales Executive
Munster Region Opportunity:
As part of continued expansion, an experienced Senior Sales Executive is sought to join a dynamic team in Cork. This role will focus on new business acquisition and revenue growth in the Munster region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a strategic sales plan focused on new business acquisition and revenue growth in the Munster region.
* Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities while managing and expanding relationships with existing clients.
* Collaborate with the wider sales team to define and execute a growth strategy that aligns with company goals.
* Lead the sales proposal process: from preparing estimates and bids to submission, ensuring all proposals are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client needs.
* Maintain a strong and current customer database with accurate profiling, contact history, and engagement tracking.
* Generate accurate sales forecasts and regular reports to senior management.
* Engage in cross-selling and upselling to maximize revenue across all product categories.
* Forge strong relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction companies, and collaborate with key stakeholders to secure specification and project alignment.
* Develop relationships with key architects and specifiers in the region to influence design and product adoption.
* Work in close collaboration with the Sales & Business Development Manager to drive targeted growth in Hardware and Automatic Door Systems.
Candidate Profile:
* Ideally current relationship with Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction companies, architects, and specifiers in the region.
* Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in construction-related sectors or technical product sales.
* Strong track record of exceeding targets and driving regional business growth.
* Excellent relationship builder with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels – including architects, contractors, and procurement professionals.
* Technically savvy and confident in preparing detailed, accurate proposals and tenders.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Based in or willing to work from Cork, with travel across the Munster region as required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the construction industry or a similar field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
