Job Purpose:
The Instructor is responsible for training and developing learners in accordance with agreed local training programme specifications, as well as the day-to-day running and maintenance of all aspects of the training programmes.
The Instructor assists learners with additional support needs in exploring their future career and educational direction and making realistic vocational choices with a view to progressing to further education/employment.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the co-ordination, delivery, and assessment of QQI modules.
* Maintain records of all training in accordance with both internal and external quality standards.
* Mentor learners by example, individual meetings, and direct training to choose the correct timetable, develop effective work attitudes and behaviours, and provide constructive feedback.
What we're looking for:
* A third-level qualification, preferably within the Education/Training sector.
* A relevant pedagogical/training qualification - Train the Trainer QQI Level 6 as a minimum.
* Proficient IT skills.
* Relevant occupational experience of working with learners in educational, guidance, and/or developmental contexts.
