Job Description:
Your role: As a Manufacturing Apprentice Engineer, you will support production operations, optimize processes, and ensure quality standards are met. You will monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to process improvements using engineering principles and methodologies like Kaizen and project management.
Who you are: You should have a Leaving Certificate (or equivalent), with at least Grade 06 in five subjects including Maths and a language (English or Irish). Current students are welcome to apply, pending passing these subjects. Applicants over 23 without a Leaving Certificate can apply via the mature student route, subject to an interview and relevant experience.
What you will learn: You will gain proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), understand mechanical engineering principles, develop troubleshooting skills, learn quality standards like ISO 9001, and acquire safety and project management knowledge. You will also develop communication and teamwork skills.
