About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Homecare Supervisor to join our team.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing initial homecare assessments and care plans with prospect service users. You will report to the Senior Homecare Supervisor and attend weekly meetings with the wider Clinical Team to ensure that service levels are consistent and maintained to the highest standard.
Your duties will include:
1. Working with a team to ensure service is satisfactory
2. Carrying out induction for and supervision of new staff where required
3. Monitoring staff compliance and training
4. Completing individual client assessment and reassessment to agreed standards
5. Developing and implementing person-centred care plans
6. Maintaining documentation on clients care provision
7. Visiting clients during the period of their service provision reviewing updates, and delivery of service
8. Carrying out spot checks, completing client and staff feedback forms
9. Monitoring client satisfaction
10. Preparing for and participating in HSE and internal audits
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Full QQI Level 5 award in Healthcare Support (required)
* QQI Level 6 or above in Supervisory Management (desired – training available)
* Previous experience in a similar role
* A full, clean drivers' licence and access to own transportation
* Proof of in date certs in mandatory courses such as Patient Moving & Handling and CPR (training available)
* Willingness to undergo Myhomecare Garda Vetting
