The Donkey Sanctuary Ireland (TDSI) works as part of an international animal welfare organisation, offering care and protection to donkeys and mules worldwide. Volunteers have been at the heart of our work for over 15 years and are integral to reaching our future goals. If you're a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and would like to donate your time to The Donkey Sanctuary Ireland, we are looking for a volunteer to support the Visitor Experience team with planning and delivering fundraising activities and events. This includes assisting with the smooth operation of initiatives throughout the year, aligned with TDSI’s Business Plan. Customer-facing duties are a priority to ensure visitors feel valued and well cared for during their visit.

* Professional image and positive attitude at all times
* Willing to complete TDSI Volunteer, GDPR, and safeguarding training
You will be able to help us with
* Supporting fundraising events, liaising with stakeholders, and assisting visitors
* Providing a warm welcome at visitor centre events, conveying consistent messaging
* Helping with event hosting, refreshments, cleanliness, and directions
* Handling cash transactions such as ticket sales, adoptions, and donations
* Preparing and distributing promotional materials, and assisting with event setup and takedown
* Hosting tours and promoting the charity’s work and donkey welfare
* Developing initiatives to encourage volunteering
After a 1-day induction, you will represent The Donkey Sanctuary Ireland positively, embodying our values of compassion, collaboration, and creativity.
