Teaworx is delighted to be recruiting a Bar Manager for our client, a popular boutique hotel with a bustling food and beverage offering, located between Dublin City and Co. Kildare. This role is suited to a seasoned hospitality manager with strong F&B experience in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Bar & Beverage Operations
* Manage the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
* Oversee beverage stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
* Develop and maintain drinks menus, including seasonal cocktails, wines, and spirits.
* Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Support the Operations Manager in all F&B outlets (restaurant, bar, banqueting).
* Lead shifts as Duty Manager, ensuring all departments operate to high standards.
* Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and implement improvements where necessary.
* Coordinate with the kitchen team to maintain seamless food and beverage service.
Team Management
* Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver a consistently high level of customer service.
* Prepare staff rosters, manage labour costs, and monitor productivity.
* Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
* Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative working environment.
* Assist in setting and achieving revenue targets, controlling costs, and managing budgets.
* Handle cashing up, daily reports, and end‑of‑day reconciliations.
* Report on sales, wastage, and operational performance to senior management.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in F&B management.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage high‑volume service while maintaining excellent guest experience.
* Sound knowledge of drinks, mixology, and current industry trends.
* Proficient in stock control, rostering, and cost management.
* Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
