The Commercial Account Executive will play a key role in supporting the renewal portfolio, delivering excellent service to broker partners, and contributing to retention, rate increases, and cross-sell opportunities. This position requires strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to compliance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Activity Management
Support the achievement of the Commercial Renewal Business budget.
Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet agreed retention and rate increase targets.
Contribute to upsell and cross-sell performance objectives.
Ensure all agreed processes and procedures are followed consistently.
Customer Service
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key broker partners.
Take ownership of delivering accurate, high-quality work.
Respond professionally and efficiently to enquiries from brokers, internal staff, and management.
Customer Relationship Management
Build trusted working relationships with brokers by anticipating needs and meeting commitments.
Share information effectively and support strong communication across stakeholders.
Work closely with the Team Leader, Operations & Trading Director, and relevant team members.
Contribute to a team-focused environment ensuring broker needs are met.
Support the team in achieving monthly and annual performance targets.
Compliance & Professional Standards
Adhere to all audit and regulatory requirements.
Complete relevant insurance examinations within required timelines.
Maintain high-quality file records in line with prescribed standards.
