Normal Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Flexibility may be required at times. Role Overview Our client is seeking a Customer Service Executive to join their team in North Dublin. This exciting role is ideal for an ambitious professional looking for a new challenge and to be part of a hardworking, collaborative team. The position offers excellent opportunities for career development and progression. *Client location is not on a bus route, own car essential* Main Duties and Responsibilities: Issue customer quotations and convert them into bookings. Manage key customer accounts, focusing on KPIs and performance reporting. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to ensure retention and growth. Proactively liaise with customers, suppliers, and partners to deliver high-quality service in a professional manner. Liaise with customs and regulatory bodies when needed. Apply customer rates, manage supplier charges, and handle invoicing. Support colleagues in other departments both nationally and internationally. Prioritise tasks flexibly to meet deadlines and achieve business goals. Handle general customs processes, including export/import declarations and ACP processes. Perform other ad-hoc office and administrative duties as required. Required Skills and Experience: Experience in a similar environment, preferably in a customer-facing role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Self-motivated with excellent communication skills/ good telephone skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in road freight and customs is an advantage. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
