Commercial Director Role
The Commercial Director is responsible for overseeing the commercial interface between delivery operations and business stakeholders. This role executes projects and achieves shared objectives by acting as the primary point of contact for all commercial matters not directly related to principal construction contracts.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance delivery operations and achieve business goals.
* Act as the main liaison between delivery teams and business stakeholders.
* Lead a team of delivery commercial Interface Managers.
* Monitor project completion and implement effective project evaluation methodologies.
* Negotiate, execute, and manage delivery-related contracts and agreements.
* Manage relevant budgets and financial forecasts.
* Prepare regular reports on commercial performance.
Key Qualifications:
* 15+ years of experience in commercial and contract management in construction or civil engineering.
* 3+ years in a leadership position with similar responsibilities.
* Experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies, managing contracts, and negotiating agreements.
* Strong project management skills, interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and ability to communicate complex technical and commercial issues.
* Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and adapt to changing project requirements.
