Marlfield House is a 26-bedroom country house in business for over 40 years, renowned for its food, service, and luxury. It is a member of Ireland's Blue Book and the Relais et Chateaux guide. The estate features two restaurants, including a fine dining restaurant that caters for up to 90 guests and hosts about 40 weddings annually, as well as The Duck Restaurant in the courtyard. Situated on 36 acres of gardens and grounds, it boasts a kitchen garden supplying produce during summer months. Marlfield is located just outside Gorey, Co Wexford, near the beach and an hour south of Dublin on the N11.
Requirements:
* At least two years of experience in room sales.
* Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal, sales, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency with technology and online booking systems.
* Ability to process invoices, reconcile accounts, and manage payroll.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
Responsibilities:
* Work with the front office team to sell rooms, handle reservations, and manage online sales.
* Reconcile cash, lodgements, and bank transactions.
* Assist with payroll processing and financial reporting.
* Ensure timely filing of revenue returns, VAT, and PAYE.
* Support end-of-year audits and budgeting processes.
