Our waste-to-energy facility in Meath produces enough electricity to power 22,000 homes annually. We are looking to expand their team to facilitate growth. As a permanent fulltime Process Shift Operator, you'll be a member of our Meath Production Team that autonomously controls and executes the operations of the plant.
Role And Responsibilities
* As with everyone on site you will be trained to work safely and correctly, assuring a safe workplace for everyone.
* As part of the team you will ensure the plant operates continuously and at capacity and within licence parameters .
* Monitoring the plant by means of a process computer monitoring the incineration process, flue gas cleaning, steam condensate system and electricity production will be part of your role.
* As part of a team you will ensure consumables are accepted as per deliveries expected and required specifications.
* Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance actions (e.g. lubrication and cleaning of equipment) will be part of your role.
* Team driven shift pattern with generous shift allowance.
Experience and qualifications
* Leaving cert with technical subjects or equivalent
* 5 years' experience in the process industry (metallurgy, basic materials, power plant, petrochemicals, mass production industry) in a similar role
* Experience and knowledge in maintenance of mechanical equipment is an advantage
