Experienced structural design professionals with a strong background in building projects are sought for permanent positions.
About the Role:
* Deliver high-quality, sustainable building projects across various sectors including residential, healthcare, education, and commercial.
* Collaborate with architects, developers, local authorities, and property owners to develop robust and long-lasting building designs.
* Contribute to a portfolio featuring private housing developments, social housing developments, healthcare facilities, retail developments, office buildings, primary, secondary, and third-level school buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead complex structural design projects and teams.
* Work collaboratively with engineers and architects to deliver successful projects.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments, legislation, and best practices.
Requirements:
* Honours degree in structural/civil engineering (Level 8 qualification in the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent).
* Five to ten years' relevant experience.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Good organisational skills.
* Chartered or working towards chartered status with a recognised professional body.
* Full driving licence.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with structural design software, including BIM/Revit and AutoCAD.
* Knowledge of Eurocodes for concrete, steel, masonry, timber, and foundations.
