Site Logistics Manager
Our client is a large international main contractor heavily involved in the construction of Data Centers. As the main contractor on these projects, they build them as a complete package from enabling/civil works through structural build, M&E installation, and commissioning to final client handover. You will be working with a large main contractor within a strong and structured management team.
They are heavily involved in the construction of Data Centers and require a Logistics Manager for a new build Data Center on the Dublin/Meath border.
Requirements
* Manage the compound for all available storage areas on site.
* Booking and coordination of delivery of materials.
* Coordinate with sub-contractors to ensure their understanding of locations for all deliveries from off-site storage to the site in a safe manner, following all instructions.
* Maintain good organisational skills to ensure deliveries arrive at the site in an orderly manner.
* Attend pre-start meetings with sub-contractors to ensure they understand site challenges, storage space, locations, and booking of deliveries through the Datascope system.
* Liaise closely with sub-contractors to ensure effective traffic management of all vehicles and deliveries on-site.
* Manage contractors’ approach to each delivery and ensure all are completed efficiently.
* Prevent congestion and blockage of site roads; all loading and unloading of vehicles must occur within the compound.
* Manage operatives to ensure adherence to health & safety protocols and work ethics.
* Record and trace labour allocation and work reports.

Skills/Qualifications
* Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
* Practical knowledge of managing loads, storage space, sub-contractors, and operatives.
* Additional qualifications in AP Crane and Temp Works are advantageous.
