Accounts Assistant Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to manage accounts payable and support financial reporting in our retail client practice. The successful candidate will have experience in accounts payable, strong accounting knowledge, and excellent communication skills.
* Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Support month-end and year-end financial reporting.
* Liaise with suppliers to resolve payment issues.
* Maintain accurate financial records.
Key Requirements and Qualifications
* Prior experience in accounts payable, ideally in a retail or similar setting.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Excel.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, part-qualified ACCA/ACA) is a plus.
