Vice President, Accounting
Location: Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Develop and implement accounting procedures to enhance operational efficiency and maintain robust internal controls.
Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision‑making and business planning.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align accounting practices with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and inform strategic planning.
Apply AI capabilities to support Finance transformation throughout the firm.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
ACA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strategic relationships and effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and developing team members.
