We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Technicianto join a busy and growing architectural practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take a leading role in projects, develop comprehensive technical drawing packages, coordinate with consultants, and support the delivery of projects from planning through to construction. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation in line with building regulations and project requirements. Translate conceptual and schematic designs into fully coordinated technical packages. Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, M&E, and specialist consultants. Prepare and submit planning and building regulation applications. Carry out site visits and prepare site reports under the direction of the Project Architect. Identify technical issues, propose practical solutions, and highlight buildability concerns. Keep up to date with industry standards, building regulations, and product innovations. Maintain exceptional accuracy and high-quality graphic presentation in all outputs. Skills & Experience Required Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology (or equivalent). Minimum of 23 years post-qualification experience within an architectural practice. Excellent knowledge of building regulations, codes, and construction methodologies (ROI and/or UK preferred). Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD and Revit preferred); BIM workflow experience is highly advantageous. Strong track record in producing working drawings, tender packages, and construction detailing. Solid understanding of materials, building envelope design, and specification writing. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team. Strong communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
