Claims Handler
You will be working on motor claims - ideally you'll have motor claims experience but if not, we are happy to discuss this role with you once you have claims experience.
You will be responsible for responding to the insurance needs of customers, helping them navigate through the claims process. As an integral member of the Claims Team you will support not only the effective handling of claims, but play a key role in helping us shape how the organisation can improve their services for the future.
Your new role:
- Supporting and advising claimants throughout the process of their claim;
- Prioritising your own caseload to meet deadlines, whilst providing a high quality of customer service;
- Analysing the details for each claim made by a policyholder to establish whether it satisfies policy conditions;
- Drawing on technical expertise to determine and apply effective claim management strategies
- Ensuring claims files remain accurate and up to date;
- Liaising with solicitors, and other legal and claims professionals, to negotiate the terms of a claim to a successful outcome, as appropriate
Skills/Experience
- Must have claims experience and ideally have motor / injury claims experience
- Min APA Qualification and working towards CIP
