Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Manager to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production, from menu planning and inventory management to staff supervision and culinary quality control.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective menu planning strategies to ensure high-quality dishes that meet customer expectations.
* Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of ingredients and supplies to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
* Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, providing coaching and training to improve performance and job satisfaction.
* Implement and maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
* Monitor and control costs associated with food production, including ingredient sourcing, labor, and equipment maintenance.
* Collaborate with other department heads to develop and implement cross-functional plans that drive business growth and profitability.
* Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a senior chef or culinary operations manager in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment.
* Proven track record of success in managing kitchen teams and improving culinary operations.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions quickly.
