Role Purpose
To deliver a full suite of professional accounting, compliance, and advisory services to a portfolio of clients, ensuring their statutory obligations are met while supporting their growth, efficiency, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & CRO Compliance
Prepare full and abridged financial statements in compliance with Irish GAAP / FRS 102 / IFRS.
File annual returns and maintain statutory registers with the Companies Registration Office (CRO).
Ensure compliance with the Companies Act and best practice governance.
Audit & Assurance
Plan and execute audits and assurance engagements.
Supervise audit staff, review work, and ensure compliance with auditing standards.
Deliver audit findings and recommendations clearly to clients.
Taxation Services
Prepare and submit corporation tax, income tax, VAT, RCT and PAYE/PRSI returns.
Provide tax planning advice to optimise efficiency and compliance.
Advise on restructuring, reliefs, and succession planning.
Payroll & Employment Compliance
Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including benefit-in-kind and pension contributions.
Ensure compliance with PAYE modernisation and Revenue reporting obligations.
Management Accounting & Advisory
Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cashflow projections.
Analyse variances and provide performance insights.
Support clients with financial decision-making and growth strategies.
Company Secretarial
Draft AGM/EGM documentation, maintain registers, and process director/secretary changes.
Manage statutory filings and corporate governance compliance.
Client Relationship Management
Act as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and improvements.
Provide clear, practical advice in plain language.
Qualifications & Skills
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) or part-qualified with significant practice experience.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting, audit, and tax standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client deadlines and priorities.
Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and professional judgement.
Desirable Experience
Working with SMEs, family businesses, or high-growth companies.
Sector exposure in areas like agriculture, hospitality, property, or technology.
Experience with sustainability reporting or environmental tax.
Previous advisory or consultancy experience.
