About The Role
Wicklow Wolf Brewing Company is at the forefront of the craft beer industry in Ireland. Founded in 2014, it has become one of the leading brands in a very vibrant and fast-growing sector of the beer industry. Due to ongoing expansion, we are looking to add an experienced brewer who has beer quality at their core, with positive team centric work ethic. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, creative, and utilize a proactive approach to their work, all while maintaining a sharp focus on the health and safety. The successful applicant will be joining a small team that shares responsibilities for all aspects of production, including but not limited to beer production from raw material handling to final packaged beer, process improvement and quality assurance. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience across all aspects of beer production. Responsibilities/Skills
· Operation and maintenance of fully automated 35HL 4 vessel Braukon Brewhouse.
· Cellar operation incl. tank CIP, yeast management, fermentation & tank progression monitoring, dry hopping, centrifuge, transfers etc.
· Conducting all QC checks as required across the process.
· Proactive approach to process problem solving & be open minded to implementing new techniques and ways of working.
· Strong communication skills; be able to communicate clearly and effectively across all departments within the brewery.
· Maintain a high standard of data logging and record keeping.
· Work & adapt to achieve production schedule, ensuring that beer is available to meet the needs of the business.
· Cleaning & general housekeeping; It is essential you maintain a clean environment for beer production and packaging.
· Operation and monitoring of 16 fill-head canning line, Framax bottling and kegging equipment as required.
· Communicate and work openly and honestly with immediate team and the wider business.
· Ability to work in a safe manner, and ensure the safety of others is not compromised in the work they do.
Qualifications/Experience
o Minimum 1+ years' experience as a Brewer in a fast-moving production environment.
o A combination of the below is an advantage but having all is not essential.
o A relevant technical qualification such as IBD.
o Technical qualification in science/engineering or similar.
o Experience with automated systems.
o Experience with process improvement, problem solving techniques & recipe development.
o Experience running canning/bottling lines.
o Forklift Licence, working at height, manual handling.
o Mechanical/electrical engineering experience.

· Interact with external contractors, customers and visitors in a positive and helpful manner.

About Us
In mid-2019 we commissioned our state of the art fully automated 35HL Braukon brewhouse and cellar with integrated CIP system. This allows us to produce consistent and high-quality wort while offering us great insight and control of every aspect of beer we produce. Our cellar consists of various FV sizes, BBTs and a GEA centrifuge which gives us the flexibility required to produce a wide variety of beer styles while maintaining a focus on quality. We package all beer produced on site into kegs, can and bottles. Our focus on a combination of high-quality equipment, ingredients and people allows us to supply our customers consistently with innovative brews.
