Our Dublin based client are looking for aPrincipal Software Engineerto join their team on a permanent basisThis role sits within the Product Development team and is at the Director Level with a base salary and overall package to reflect the role and level of SeniorityGlobal based company with a growing office in Dublin who operate in an exciting and modern sector that focuses on health and technologyResponsibilities:Design and build enterprise-wide software solutions with a focus on performance, scaling, and high levels of reliability.Provide very strong technical leadership across the team, providing technical direction and high standards in software architecture and development.Architect and implement AWS solutions, with a deep level of expertise in serverless technologiesHave a focus and knowledge across AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS and more.Working alongside product managers, architects, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to set the technical design that aligns to overall business and group goalsMentor and help to train engineers, pushing to elevate engineering excellence and standardsRequirements:10+ years of software development or architecture experience, with at least 3-4 years in senior or management level rolesHave significant experience architecting and building enterprise-wide cloud-native solutions.Expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly:AWS LambdaAPI GatewayDynamoDBEKS or ECSProgramming skills in Python and/or Java.Excellent understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and SDLC methodologies.Desirable:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud ecosystems.Understanding of data governance, security architecture, and compliance in cloud environments.HOW TO APPLY:To apply for this role, please submit your updated CV.
