Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Graduate Engineer to join our team in Athlone. As a Graduate Engineer, you will be responsible for the Engineering activities for multiple projects and will support the Utilities Management team through the process role.
The day-to-day tasks of this role will include supporting the Site Maintenance Technical Team in the identification, analysis, design, costing, and implementation of Preventative Maintenance works.
Additionally, you will be completing GEMBAs and designing improvements relating to site PM's for technicians involved in maintenance activities, performing data collection activities to inform the continuous improvements of current utility systems, e.g., Process Water, Water Treatment, Permit system.
You will also support the plant Engineers in the completion of site survey during the planning phase of utilities project or performance contracts, reviewing and analysing performance specifications for equipment from suppliers and contractors.
Furthermore, you will support the team in tender evaluations, perform P&ID drawing reviews and updates, support the maintenance team with development of schedules and budgets, and support the team with the development of monitoring and targeting systems and key performance indicators that will assist the delivery and maintenance of long-term energy reductions and improvements.
Required skills for this role include a Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Energy or Building Services, recently or expected to graduate from the above relevant course.
Knowledge in energy auditing, energy consumption forecasting and energy modelling through life cycle and capital cost/benefits analysis is also required.
Theoretical knowledge of industrial energy systems, including Steam, Electrical Generation & Distribution, Renewables Energy Systems, Compressed Air, Refrigeration, Nitrogen Generation, is a plus.
