About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Prep Cook to join our hotel kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, reheating, and cooling food items in compliance with HACCP food safety standards. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering a high-quality dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare ingredients and meals according to standardized recipes and kitchen guidelines.
* Reheat, cool down, and store food safely in line with HACCP procedures.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area and equipment.
* Assist chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
* Monitor food storage, labeling, and rotation to ensure freshness and compliance.
* Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements
* Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred (hotel or restaurant background is an advantage).
* Knowledge of HACCP procedures and safe food handling practices.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
