Role Overview
Wallace Myers International is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a growing specialist team delivering mission-critical Data Centre and Pharmaceutical projects across Dublin and surrounding regions.
This role offers the opportunity to work on technically complex, high-value projects requiring robust, resilient, and highly regulated mechanical building services solutions.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative approach, and proven experience in the design and coordination of mechanical services for high-performance environments, including Data Centres, Pharma manufacturing, cleanrooms, laboratories, and other critical infrastructure.
Key Requirements
Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
5+ years' experience designing mechanical building services systems, ideally within Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or other mission-critical environments
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, chilled water systems, redundancy strategies, and plantroom design
Experience working within regulated environments, with an understanding of GMP, validation, commissioning, and resilience requirements
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport
Desirable Experience
Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartership
Strong experience using Revit BIM and coordinated 3 D design environments
Exposure to fast-track project delivery, phased construction, or live-site upgrades
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale, technically complex projects
