 
        
        Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Market Insight
 * Support the Head of Department in developing and delivering the Procurement Strategy, aligned with Category objectives.
 * Track market dynamics, industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and guide procurement decisions.
Portfolio & Range Management
 * Own product ranges within the portfolio, ensuring a competitive, innovative, and customer-focused assortment.
 * Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment on demand, pricing, and competitiveness.
Supply Chain & Fulfilment
 * Manage procurement processes: demand forecasting, purchase requisitions, stock orders, and transfers.
 * Balance supply chain constraints (capacity, lead times, delivery schedules) to ensure materials are available on time and in full.
Inventory & Cost Optimisation
 * Optimise stock levels to reduce shortages and excess.
 * Lead supplier negotiations, manage RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, and secure the best commercial terms.
Pricing & Performance Management
 * Leverage insights and data to manage pricing strategy, driving profitability and competitiveness.
 * Monitor portfolio KPIs (sales, margin, cost, service, stock) and deliver continuous improvement.
Supplier & Customer Engagement
 * Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive innovation, service, and cost efficiencies.
 * Partner with suppliers to deliver initiatives that create value and support customer needs.
Collaboration & Administration
 * Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support business priorities.
 * Complete core purchasing administration tasks including requisitions, invoice matching, credit notes, and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
 * Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related discipline.
 * 3+ years' senior procurement or purchasing management experience, ideally within retail/wholesale (Irish market knowledge preferred).
 * Proven track record in supplier negotiation, cost optimisation, and relationship management.
 * Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
 * Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of the business.
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with purchasing platforms/ERP systems.
 * Ambition to grow strategic leadership capabilities.
