Housekeeping Operative
We are currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Operative to work in our client's facilities based in Ennis, Shannon and Spanish Point area.
Main Responsibilities:
* Clean clinical and non-clinical departments, ensuring all equipment is kept clean and in good condition.
* Remove waste and manage it properly.
* Follow all standard operating procedures and policies.
* Maintain high level areas through damp dusting with appropriate equipment.
* Dust control and mop floors as required.
* Restock disposables and consumables as necessary.
* Perform deep cleans in departments upon request.
* Ensure all cleaning equipment is cleaned and disinfected daily.
* Wash and dry cleaning cloths and mop heads after each use.
* Complete checklists and return them to the supervisor or manager.
* Keep clinical bin stores clean and well-maintained.
* Provide excellent customer service by greeting and engaging with patients.
Qualifications & Experience:
A previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.
We require candidates with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service. A high level of attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy in all duties is also required.
Working Hours:
The successful candidate will work 39 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern, which may include evenings and weekends.
