We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Construction Manager to lead the installation of an Ekato dryer at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Cork. This is a critical capital project within a highly regulated GMP environment, requiring strong leadership, technical coordination, and a proven track record in pharmaceutical project delivery.A background in Civil or Construction Engineering is preferred but not mandatory. What matters most is your ability to deliver complex capital projects safely, on time, and to the exacting standards of the pharmaceutical industry.Key ResponsibilitiesOverall project/construction management of the Ekato dryer installationCoordination of civil, mechanical, electrical, and vendor activitiesManagement of project schedule, cost control, and site safetyInterface with engineering, quality, EHS, and operations teamsOversight of contractor performance and site worksEnsure full compliance with GMP, site procedures, and regulatory expectationsSupport commissioning, qualification, and handover to operationsMinimum 7 years' experience working on pharmaceutical manufacturing projectsStrong understanding of GMP environments and regulated project deliveryExperience working with equipment vendors and multiple contractorsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsPreferred BackgroundCivil / Construction Engineering background (advantageous but not essential)Experience on brownfield pharmaceutical sitesExposure to drying technologies or similar large-scale process equipmentDegree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related disciplineChartered Engineer (CEng) or working toward chartership – advantageousSafe Pass and relevant site safety trainingKnowledge of EHS and construction regulations in IrelandIf you are looking for a new and refreshing role or have any questions about the position, then give me a call, drop me a message, or apply directly below and get ahead of the crowd!
