Our Westmeath based client who is a leading Engineering Consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join there expanding team. In this position there will be a strong focus on MEP Installations, Design Engineering, mentoring junior staff, site inspections and maintaining client relations. Duties and responsibilities Focus on project requirements and deliverables Focus on electrical design solutions in projects orientated to commercial, healthcare, industrial, educational and residential sectors Preparation of electrical budget estimates, managing project costs Plan workload for junior members of staff Attend Site meetings and site inspections Work with designers on BCAR inspection plans, and carry out inspections at key project stages What we need from you Minimum Level 8 degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering, guidance documents, wiring and building regulations within Ireland Knowledge in electrical design software applications, Dialux, Amtech, E-Tap, Auto CAD, Revit, Navis Works Commercial electrical projects and working within a design team on commercial building projects Apply for this job now by sending in a Word version of your CV or get in touch with Eugene at or alternatively by phone at.
