About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned and enthusiastic Chef de Cuisine to join our fast-paced kitchen team for the summer season. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate chef to take on a key role in supporting the Head Chef during our busiest months.
The Role
* Support the Head Chef in the smooth operation of the kitchen
* Supervise and lead junior kitchen staff during service
* Evaluate all dishes to ensure they meet high standards
* Contribute to menu planning, stock control, and ordering
* Maintain excellent hygiene, safety, and food quality standards
Requirements
* Minimum 4 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment
* Proven track record of working in a busy, high-volume restaurant
* Strong cooking skills with a good knowledge of seasonal produce
* Ability to lead and motivate a team
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
* Valid work permit (if applicable)
