As a key member of our R&D Centre in Swords, Co. Dublin, we are seeking an accomplished Chemist to spearhead chemical process development and technology transfer.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and well-controlled processes for new and existing product introductions. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading development projects, including route scouting, route development, crystallisation optimisation, and process safety assessment.
* Providing technical support for the manufacture of APIs and intermediates, focusing on optimisation and troubleshooting.
* Identifying and implementing projects to optimise processes, considering scale-up, manufacturing requirements, and Critical to Quality Attributes.
* Cultivating a culture of data-driven decision-making through utilising PAT tools such as FBRM, Raman, and IR.
* Collaborating with analytical chemists and Operations engineers for new product introduction and scale-up activities.
We require an individual with expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, capable of supporting all aspects of chemical process development, from concept to commercialisation.
