Location: Airbnb
Rate of pay: €55,000 - €65,000 per annum
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Key responsibilities
• Lead and oversee daily operations of restaurant and special events, ensuring consistently high service standards and seamless guest experiences.
• Supervise, mentor, and train the onsite catering team, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
• Continuously seek opportunities to elevate both client satisfaction and customer experience, driving excellence in every interaction.
• Manage budgets in alignment with client expectations, including accurate monthly forecasting, and take proactive steps to address any financial requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth operations across all services onsite, including joint efforts in menu planning and execution.
• Develop, implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational consistency and efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate
• 5+ years of experience in a management role within the food service or hospitality industry, preferably in a superior quality restaurant or catering environment.
• Proven track record of overseeing daily operations, including managing Teams, Stock/Inventory and Guest Services to a high standard.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting and forecasting, including managing costs, monitoring profitability, and making data-driven decisions to stay within financial targets.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Excellent in communication and problem-solving skills with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Basic understanding of menu planning and food preparation, enabling effective collaboration with kitchen staff and a solid grasp of food trends, allergens and dietary restrictions.
