The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Marketing Manager from the hospitality sector
to lead the sales, marketing, revenue, and events strategy for a well-established hotel in Wicklow. You will manage a small team (Wedding & Events, Revenue, and Reservations) and play a key role in driving business growth, brand positioning, and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver the annual marketing & sales strategy and budget.
* Lead and motivate the sales, marketing, and revenue teams to achieve growth targets.
* Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, client visits, and FAM trips.
* Identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
* Manage relationships with external partners including PR, travel networks, and digital marketing.
* Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistency across all channels.
* Report on sales, marketing, and revenue performance.
Requirements
* 5+ years' experience in a senior marketing role within the hotel/hospitality sector (essential).
* Strong knowledge of luxury hospitality practices and revenue management.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational abilities.
* Flexible to travel for business development and client engagement.
* Must have a valid driving licence.
* Experience with Hotsoft is an advantage.
