This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of our service offering.Your key responsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain reusable UI components using web component standards like Custom Elements and Shadow DOM.Implement dynamic, responsive, and accessible components following industry best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to deliver robust and user-friendly UI frameworks.Write clean, modular, and well-documented code.Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure component reliability.Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in UI/UX development and web components.Skills and Attributes for successTo qualify for the role, you must have5/8 years of experience in front-end developmentDeep knowledge of Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, and related web component technologies.Ability to develop dynamic, responsive, and modular solutions using ES6+ and TypeScript.A strong understanding of UI frameworks, micro-frontends architecture, and their integration into various systems.Experience integrating web components into various frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).Proven experience in developing web applications using web component standards (Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, HTML templates).Experience with frameworks and libraries such as Lit, Stencil, or similar for web component development.Strong understanding of HTML, CSS (including CSS Variables, Grid, and Flexbox).Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, ARIA) and a commitment to implementing them.Familiarity with modern build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Rollup).Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Karma) and E2E testing tools (e.g., Cypress).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Proficient in version control systems like Git.Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools for web applications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsComfortable in collaborating with software engineers, product managers, and cross-functional global teams.Commitment to writing clean, modular, and scalable code.Ability to address complex technical challenges with smart solutions.Ability to drive the project and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.Ideally, you will also haveA bachelor's or master's degreeExperience in managing client accounts preferably in a consulting environmentWhat working at EY offersWe offer a competitive remuneration package.
