Senior Accounts Payable Specialist
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the Accounts Payable team in processing invoices and payments efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership: Supervise AP team workload allocation, conduct meetings, and provide training and support to ensure optimal performance.
* Reconciliations: Perform supplier statement reconciliations at each period end and diligently follow up on discrepancies.
* PO System Management: Manage PO system queries and issues, user training, and workflows to ensure timely invoice and purchase order processing.
* Invoice Processing: Oversee the entire invoice processing cycle from verifying invoices upon receipt to accurately posting supplier invoices.
* Payment Runs: Prepare weekly supplier payment runs ensuring all suppliers are paid within agreed credit terms.
* Period End Support: Assist with period-end close activities including accrual preparation and identification.
* Query Resolution: Act as a key point of contact for escalated issues and resolve internal and external business partner queries.
