About the Role
This post will be in the area of general adult inpatient and community psychiatry. It is an ideal opportunity for those wanting to enhance a career in psychiatry and expand experience in a top‑class clinical and academic environment. You will work alongside multidisciplinary colleagues at Cluain Mhuire, a teaching centre for RCSI students and NCHD's. The post requires participation in the active teaching programme and clinical audit.
Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric care within a general adult inpatient and community setting, contribute to teaching of RCSI students and NCHD's, and participate in clinical audit activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in medicine is a basic requirement.
Current registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
Preferable previous experience in psychiatry.
Desirable experience in the Irish health care system.
Must meet eligibility criteria for immigration status, English language skills, and minimum educational entry criteria for the speciality and level as per specification.
Compensation
Salary Grade 1012 (Senior House Officer) and 1538 (Registrar) on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale, €54,745 - €81,937 per annum pro rata.
Location
Cluain Mhuire Services, Dun Laoghaire. Employees may be required to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or associated premises, with reasonable notice provided.
