HR Administrator – Galway

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global organization where your ideas and contributions will make a real difference. This is an initial 12‑month contract, with the possibility of extension for the right person.
About The Role
In this varied and rewarding position, you’ll play a key role in supporting employees throughout every stage of their journey. You’ll be part of a team that’s focused on delivering excellent service, solving problems efficiently, and helping shape a positive and engaging workplace culture.
What You’ll Be Doing
 * Supporting monthly payroll activities as part of a global HR project team.
 * Managing a high volume of employee queries with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
 * Acting as a trusted HR point of contact, providing advice on HR policies and procedures.
 * Maintaining and improving HR templates, documentation, and processes.
 * Accurately processing transactions in the HR system (Workday).
 * Supporting benefit administration, including healthcare, pension, and cycle-to-work schemes.
 * Managing leave of absence requests, including system updates and employee communication.
 * Preparing employment‑related documents such as salary letters, visa support, and employment verification.
 * Assisting with ongoing HR initiatives and projects aligned to business priorities.
What We’re Looking For
 * Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related area.
 * CIPD certification (or working toward it) is an advantage.
 * Minimum of 2 years’ HR experience — ideally in payroll, absence management, employee relations, or immigration support.
 * Confident managing multiple stakeholders and providing excellent service.
 * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
 * Comfortable prioritising and working to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
 * Proficiency in Workday, MS Office, and Excel.
 * Great communicator who enjoys collaborating across different locations and teams.
 * Analytical mindset and proactive approach to problem‑solving.
 * Positive, can‑do attitude with a hands‑on and solutions‑focused mindset.
