Role Details
* Reporting to: Person in Charge
* Contract Type: Full-Time
* Working Week: Average of 40 hours a week, day and waking night shifts required
* Location of Work: One of our Kildare Centres

Role Responsibilities
* Facilitate and encourage decision-making, independence, and personal development.
* Provide support in daily living skills, including personal hygiene, health and appearance.
* Work in a person-centred manner to meet individual care plans and goals.
* Adhere to policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
* Administer and document the dispensation of prescribed medication.
* Undertake key worker responsibilities, helping service owners achieve goals.
* Document and report incidents and complaints involving staff, service owners or visitors.
* Work with MDT to achieve the goals of service owners.
Essential Requirements
* Social Care Worker: Minimum Level 7 qualification in Applied Social Studies or equivalent.
* Social Care Worker: Registered (or in process) with the Social Care Workers Registration Board by CORU.
* Social Care Assistant: QQI Level 5 (8 modules) in Healthcare or equivalent
* Hold a full Irish driving license
* Prior experience in social care or healthcare.
* Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
* Excellent verbal and writing skills.
* Garda Vetting/Police Clearance
