About the role:
We are currently recruiting for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen Team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities Include:
* Providing guests with high standard, freshly prepared dishes on a daily basis
* Working in a creative manner to consistently introduce innovative recipes and the ability to produce a premium quality product is essential.
* Participate in all food and beverage inventories.
* Assist the Senior Kitchen Team in planning of food budgets and forecasts pertaining to the Kitchen
* Maintain procedures to ensure the security and proper storage of food inventory and equipment. Replenish supplies in a timely manner and minimise waste
* Ensure that all kitchen equipment and storerooms are in proper operational condition and are cleaned on a regular basis.
* Adhere to governmental regulations as well as brand standards and hotel or company policies and procedures.
* Educate and assist with training new team members in compliance with brand standards
* Communicate regularly with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure the smoothly running of the Kitchen at all times

Qualifications & requirements:
* We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of food and are passionate to develop within the hotel industry, have creativity and flair, the ability to provide guidance to others and have a strong work ethic.
* Applicants are required to have two to three years of operational kitchen experience
* A diversity of culinary experience and a proven track record in fine dining
* Culinary qualifications being desirable
