Vision/Scope:
As Coffee Quality Consultant, you will enable our customers and employees to deliver Java Republic coffee and tea to the highest standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Supporting Java Republic's customer base by delivering training/ education/ knowledge in order to enable them to implement and apply JR standards in delivering coffee and tea to the highest standard;
* Direct involvement in coffee product innovation and NPD;
* Working in collaboration with the Sales team in showcasing Java Republic coffee and tea products on client visits/ tastings at Java Republic or customer locations;
* Carrying out Customer Audits – supporting our customer base to ensure that they deliver Java Republic coffee and tea to the highest standards;
* Applying skills and initiative to contribute to continuous improvement of product, systems, processes, procedures and standards;
* Project work as required;
* Being aware and open to industry & market trends, customer feedback (and where appropriate, seeking feedback) and competitor analysis and communicating to relevant Java Republic colleagues;
* Ensure effective use of all resources inclusive of working with other departments in order to offer the best solutions to our customers;
* Other duties as assigned.
Key Skills and Competencies:
* Practical experience gained in the Specialty Coffee industry (Ideally in a training role).
* Coffee training experience.
* Enjoy all aspects of working with food and drink – Especially an appreciation of great coffee.
* A comfortable working knowledge within Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* A good standard of written and verbal communication in English.
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, work/plan autonomously.
* Structured, patient and thorough approach to trainees.
