Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site Account Manager role based in Ireland. The Account Manager will manage and grow relationships with retail and wholesale customers, serving as the primary point of contact for orders, product queries, and service issues. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include overseeing key accounts, processing and monitoring orders, coordinating with internal teams on stock availability and delivery schedules, and ensuring accurate pricing and invoicing. The role will also involve identifying new business opportunities, preparing sales reports and forecasts, and supporting promotional activities or product launches. The Account Manager will work closely with operations and logistics to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve any service or supply challenges promptly.
Qualifications

Proven experience in account management, sales, or customer relationship management, ideally within food, FMCG, or fresh produce sectors.
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long‑term partnerships.
Solid organizational and time‑management abilities, including managing multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines.
Comfort with data, reporting, and basic commercial analysis (e.g., margins, volumes, pricing, and forecasts).
Familiarity with supply chain or logistics processes, particularly for perishable goods, is an advantage.
Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, email, CRM or ERP systems).
Ability to work effectively on‑site in Ireland, collaborating closely with operations, logistics, and commercial teams.
Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer‑focused mindset.
Relevant qualification in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is beneficial, or equivalent professional experience.
Interest in fresh produce and a willingness to learn about exotic product ranges and market trends.
