**Job Title:** Retail Branch Manager
Retail Managers are the leaders of our retail branches, responsible for driving the development of the branch and overseeing daily operations. They provide support to achieve agreed objectives and expand the current customer base by supporting the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive the development of the branch and implement strategies to achieve business goals.
2. Oversee the daily operations of the branch, including people management and providing support to achieve agreed objectives.
3. Expand and develop the current customer base by supporting the sales team and negotiating with suppliers.
4. Manage customer and branch contracts and pricing structures.
5. Ensure stock counts are completed, variances investigated, and aged stock minimized.
6. Oversee purchasing and reordering procedures, and manage goods inwards in the branch.
7. Provide support to credit control to achieve set debtors days and manage bad debts.
8. Oversee transport and yard operations to maintain and monitor safe operations and provide excellent customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in managing branch operations and leading a team.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and managing contracts.
* Strong organizational skills to manage stock, purchasing, and reordering processes.
