Roles & Responsibilities:

Accommodation is available in a fully furnished apartment for this position.

* report to the General Manager and Accommodation Manager and liaise with heads of departments to ensure the smooth running of the hotel and leisure centre
* ensure that at all times there are open and clear lines of communication between all departments of the company
* plan and organise the day to day operation of all departments in advance and ensure that adjustments are made on the roster
* meet and greet guests and ensure that all events / conferences run smoothly
* ensure that all guest related issues are resolved quickly and efficiently
* oversee /manage all stock management processes(with the company external stocktaker) including timely stock counts, line checks, wastage
* ensure that the company stock and cash control procedures are adhered to at all times
* be fully au fais with HACCP, Health, Safety Welfare, GDPR and keep up to date with legislation in this area
* be fully au fais with the company Health, Safety Welfare statement
* follow all company security procedures, including loss prevention measures and procedures for the security of staff and the company at all times
* liaise with human resources to ensure that all employment legislation and the present work best practices are adhered to
* identify training needs, carry out training and monitor the training programmes that are in place
* liaise with the GM with any employee complaints and/or grievances promptly, in line with company guidelines
* manage and maintain correct staffing levels in the food and beverage departments in line with targets and in relation to sales-forecasting
* any other reasonable requests made by the General Manager from time to time

Applicants applying for this position must have:

* at least 1 year supervisory / management experience and have gained an in-depth knowledge of food and beverage, sales and marketing, front desk operation
* be standards driven with the ability to organise and plan ahead
* be highly guest focused with a friendly, welcoming personality
