We are seeking an Assistant Spa Manager to join our team at The Spa in the Cashel Palace Hotel. This unique role offers a challenging and rewarding experience for those passionate about delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
* Guest Service: Provide front-of-house contact for spa guests and team members, ensuring seamless communication and a 5-star standard of service.
* Operational Management: Take responsibility for the operational and financial control of the Spa & Pool/Gym area, driving its complete viability and growth.
* Technology Management: Maintain and update various operating systems and sites, including Hot Soft Spa, Alkimii, and Procure Wizard (or similar platforms).
* Team Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations, including hiring and training staff, scheduling appointments, and organizing events.
* Customer Journey: Coordinate all aspects of our guests' journey through the spa, linking with other hotel departments to ensure an unforgettable experience.
* Marketing and Promotion: Liaise with the Sales & Marketing Manager to develop marketing plans and coordinate promotional projects for the facility.
* Inventory Management: Oversee stock ordering, auditing spa inventory, and managing multiple supply partners to ensure timely and accurate monthly stocks.
* Financial Management: Manage daily financial transactions for the spa, including budgets, P&L, and cash handling.
* Staff Development: Support, encourage, and motivate the team, providing feedback and guidance to enhance performance.
* Treatment Expertise: Possess strong therapeutic and treatment skill sets along with product retail sales experience.
* Business Decision-Making: Collaborate with the spa manager on business decisions, such as pricing packages or hiring new employees.
* Scheduling and Coverage: Schedule staff members' time effectively to ensure efficient coverage and adequate staffing levels.
* Quality Improvement: Review customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
